living the life...

My photo
don't ask me how i made it to dallas all the way from the east coast of florida... but i am a junior at smu and i am loving it! i have the best family and friends i could ever ask for. i am one of the most competitive people you'll ever meet and i will also be honest with anyone when ever they ask me for my opinion. i enjoy doing pretty much anything... watching and playing sports (especially basketball, football and volleyball) and i love meeting new people. i am amazed by every aspect of life. i don't understand why i have been given so many fortunate opportunities... i don't deserve them but i will do my best to experience life to it's fullest! as i said earlier, i have the most amazing family, sorority sisters and friends... i wouldn't be here without them! i hope you enjoy my blog... it might not be that impressive but please know that i am just a beginning blogger. have fun!

how space age!?

i recieved an email with "new michelin tires" in the subject line. obviously it was a chain email and normally i read them only if they are from my mom or one of my close friends. i almost deleted this email, though, because why am i the one to care about tires?! my mom's side of the family are "car people". my grandfather owned a car dealership and now all three of my uncles own their own in virginia. being raised around cars and noticing their particular qualities, i didn't delete the email and opened it to see what it said. these pictures where the first things i saw:

how cool? but, how strange? the email said that the tires were going to be coming out on the market soon but I haven't found a true release date on the internet. i am also not sure if i would use them right away. as with any product, it takes time to work out all the kinks and i feel that such a big technological change could bring about some glitches. the next thing that i thought about was the advertising for this product. i feel like whoever get's this advertising campaign is going to have the easiest, yet hardest, job ever! you could be really creative with the campaign, but it is going to be difficult to get the trust of the people for this product.
